The QD-7008 by Fourten Engineering is a keypad expansion unit for the Kenwood Viking VM-5000, 6000 and 7000 series mobile radio as well as the Kenwood NX-5000 series mobile radios. Designed for public safety use, the QD-7008 is a easy to use quick access keypad expansion unit that allows a user to switch to any deck/zone/channel in the mobile radio with the press of one button. The QD-7008 can be programmed for single key channel access or single key access to other mobile radio functions, such as Scan, PA or Accessory Control.
